its pretty faceroll until you get to the current raid tier/primals. then you need semi 8 competent people. most fights are very scripted with a little rng so difficulty is just being proactive instead of reactive

Yeah but bloating up the skill list is making it a pain to play, I don't know how things work on PC, but I only have 16 skills per hotbar, so I constantly have to switch between hotbars to do my full rotation instead of just "Move mouse, click"

Look into the W crossbar. You can doubletap shoulder buttons to get access to a second set of hotbars rather than trying to switch between them.

DRG is arguably the hardest melee dps in the game at 60, the 50 rotation is baby shit.

The W crossbar was implemented relatively recently, so they probably haven't updated any tutorials or tooltips at all.

NIN is hilariously easy outside of the opener though. You just look at your buffs/debuffs and react accordingly and ninjutsu once every 20s. You also have next to no positionals and a massive margin of error.

Question for the macro wizards out there.

Say I have two hotbars, which in this example I'll call 1 and 2.

I use some abilities on 1, then I press a button and it switches to hotbar 2, in the same position where 1 was. Then I press a button and it switches back to 1. And on and on.

Is this possible with a macro?

Imagine that's hotbar 1. Say 1-5 are abilities, and 6 is the macro you just posted. If I press the macro, here's how I want bar 2 to look.

1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 |

Same layout, but with 1-5 being different abilities that I've already set up beforehand, and 6 being the macro that switches the bar back to 1. I also want both bars to swap to the same position each time I press the macro (in other words, not having 2 above 1, or vice versa).

I haven't played MNK myself but I hear it's very simple.

mnk is easy but you actualy have to play like a dick and take damage sometimes/do positionals instead of mechanics if you want to peak. if you always play safe and stack for soak and such, you will just be mediocre
