Aren't the lumpenproletariat just a shitty version of the bourgeoisie?
Instead of performing honest labor that benefits the community, beggars and gangster and muggers and drug dealers just selfishly exploit the working class and often desire nothing more than to gain bourgeois wealth without involving themselves in any actual labor.
Their job is to perpetuate the simulacra and false dichotomies from the bottom.

pimping ain´t easy
Leo Adams
That's right, commie faggot, and guess what: I'm gonna steal some more shiiiet from your dwelling and sell it on Ebay like the evil lumpenproletariat I am.
Stay thieved, commoner!
Jeremiah Butler
Lumpenproles are spook free proles. If all proles became lumpenproles it would be impossible for bourgeois to exist.
Liam Brown
>Instead of performing honest labor that benefits the community
Naive asshole.
Dylan Jackson
Imperial Guards were pretty socialist in effect, there's no reason to believe they prioritize the needs of the bourgeoisie (unlike in reality) and they weren't corrupt like the Skyrim guards
Gavin Jenkins
But if the Lumpen's were spook free and concious egoists couldn't they see the advantages of striving towards communism?
Isaac Morris
No because communism is a spook as well, my leftist friend.
Levi Richardson
>lumpenproletariat >Karl Marx shit
>The influential 19th-century anarchist activist and theorist Mikhail Bakunin had a view almost opposite of Marx's on the revolutionary potential of the lumpenproletariat vs. the proletariat.[5] Bakunin, according to Nicholas Thoburn, "considers workers' integration in capital as destructive of more primary revolutionary forces. For Bakunin, the revolutionary archetype is found in a peasant milieu (which is presented as having longstanding insurrectionary traditions, as well as a communist archetype in its current social form – the peasant commune) and amongst educated unemployed youth, assorted marginals from all classes, brigands, robbers, the impoverished masses, and those on the margins of society who have escaped, been excluded from, or not yet subsumed in the discipline of emerging industrial work ... in short, all those whom Marx sought to include in the category of the lumpenproletariat".[6]
Marxists will say literally anything to save Marxism. It's the astrology of the humanities.

I'm not allying with the Bloods and the Crips
Sorry man
Oliver Reed
what do you mean by this
Noah Peterson
>Yeah dude a revolution will just happen hahaha and property will distribute itself haha
Ayden Johnson
Well yeah
Marxism is a framework of analysis, not a political system. You can find a Marxist perspective on pretty much everything.
Jack Stewart
Yeah, the problem with Bakunin is (this for example happened in my communist country, and pretty much all of Eastern Europe) that when peasants revolt like that, they basically get official party ranks, move into cities, and start fucking whores and drinking brandy. And they kill anyone who complains.
It's not a good base for a revolution, when you have someone who was literally staring at a horse's asshole for 30 years of his life, suddenly being appointed as the chief of secret police because he was the best at torturing war prisoners, or as a minister of health because he was the guy who put the rags into said prisoners mouths while the other guy was doing it.
Alexander Gonzalez
Right. Which has nothing to do with Bakunin.
The last thing he'd want is any sort of artificial hierarchy aside from the natural groupings of humans.
Josiah Butler
>nothing to do with Bakunin >post I quoted literally advocates for a peasant and criminal revolution
Daniel Russell
samefag
Basically he's saying that people are already natural anarchists and communists.
They gather naturally in family, neighborhood and working groups.
The apparatus of the state needs to be SMASHED not SEIZED.
Lucas Lopez
>>post I quoted literally advocates for a peasant and criminal revolution You can't fucking read. It didn't say that.
The quote denies Marx's attempt to REMOVE the lumpenproletariat from the revolution (like the fucking aristocrat he was) while Bakunin is trying to include them.
Blake Rivera
samefag
...and if the apparatus of the State is properly SMASHED there will be no apparatus for anyone to SEIZE to lord over anyone else.
That's Bakunin.
Gabriel Bell
samefag
Fucking Marx wanted his selected elite to SEIZE the apparatus of power to LORD it over everyone else.
...and that's what happened.
...which is why modern communism is a complete abortion of the ideals of the 19th century anarcho-communist.
Asher Hughes
>Fucking Marx wanted his selected elite to SEIZE the apparatus of power to LORD it over everyone else. It just sounds to me like Bakunin wants everyone to do the same or he's stupid enough not to realize its inevitability.
Protip: when you kill the fuck out of the people in power, your first natural impulse isn't to melt down the guns into rakes.
Christopher Edwards
>an organization capable of SMASHING the State isn't just the State by another name This is what anarchists honestly believe.
Leo Collins
>waaaaaaah wanting to stop violent gangsters from seizing power is fascist and mean :(
