What makes a /comfy/ driving experience for you guys?
For me, safety, a nice clean interior, decent sound system, and spaciousness make driving comfy.
I don't even care about speed, my ideal maximizes comfiness without being a big awkward bus (maneuverability in case of unseen circumstances is also comfy)

>heated side mirrors and rear window wiper for maximum visibility
I was looking at Subarus but they seem to slack on interior comfiness. Audi seems to have the comfiest options.
I have most of the features you listed in my car. Nice clean interior with heated leather seats, good sound system with a good bass. I also understand your feels towards wagons/estates, they are undeniably comfy. But my car is a coupe and it still feels extremely comfy. Imo I think it all boils down to the quality of the cabin and it's materials and features as well as ride quality
MK6 Golf R is the first thing I thought of that checks all your requirements.

Guys let me tell you about my comfy ride situations.
>use to drive to college in the morning ~45mins, traffic, highway, backroads etc
>would eat breakfast, drink coffee, smoke on the way to class
>in the winter, super hot, fall had windows cracked with head on, summer was all AC or sunroom just open, heated seats in winter
>listened to good music on USB drive or local radio

>long drive between towns every week for college and home
>2 hour each way
>left at night always, car loaded up with stuff
>drive, eat, listen to radio or music, stop always at my favorite rest stops to pee
>comfy and alone
>nice and quiet road always, drove through many different parts of state

wagons are comfiest but new wagons are too big.
my old rt135 corona is pretty damn comfy except the 8 track broke and the seat is currently broken too so youre all sideways (should be an easy fix), and the climate control aka the heater sucks cock.
