nah f4m. the engine doesn't use nearly that much air. The air inlets are for the Radiator and a little bit of air cooling. Shit only works though if the air has some place to go. If it's just a big cup facing forward you just get high pressure in the engine bay and no flow.
The only place for the air to go in that design is out the bottom which isn't ideal.
