This idea "that people still play SFV" is wrong. Yes, it's still more popular than other games but it's markedly less popular than the previous entry.
Even more wrong, is the idea that because SFV sucks everyone should play the latest of the other shitty games. GG, MK, Tekken, DOA, KI, SG, etc. are still fucking terrible. Nobody wants to play those either.
The reason SFV is worth complaining about is because Street Fighter at least used to be good. There is some kind of light there that it could be good again. All the other modern games that get brought up never were. It's the difference between having a bad burger and tasting a bowl of shit.

It hit me when I was in Japan playing USF4 in a packed arcade that SF5 is beyond shit. Now, USF4 by all means is not a perfect game, it has a lot of BS. But it's still a much more fun and rewarding experience than SF5.
