there's a bunch of preset items (something like uniques)
they all have a sequence of runes and item type assigned to them
when you find an item with sockets (of the type of the runeword you want to make) and put the runes in that order into sockets you'll create the "unique" item

I'm recently trying out the ps3 version. Playing the demo so far but its such a different feel than typical Diablo on the PC. Feels almost Gauntlet like which is not too bad.

I dont know what I'm doing wrong though but I'm repeatedly dying in almost the blink of an eye on hard. When I was level 4 in the catacombs the bats and grotesque leeches fucked me up and now I'm 7 in the hollow area and scavengers rip me to shreds even if I try to evade and kite. I'm mainly magic missile and arcane orb seems the ps3 version can't let me put orb and ray of frost so I can switch on the fly when I need slows.

What the fuck am I doing wrong excepting a serious case of git gud?

Not to mention it takes forever to kill shut even with arcane orb. Those fucking wretched mothers.

WW doesn't have a T13 speedfarming spec unless you have amazing gear, which I do, and it's still not as fast as the FC build. What's your gear?

nearly full ancients. rolled good on bul'kathos, and have level 55 augments on 9 of my items. I'm sitting at 1.9 damage, unbuffed, and 18.5 toughness. my speedruns aren't nearly as fast as they should be, but i'm doing sub 4 minutes on average.

my WD ancient set is that spider shit, and I just can't get behind that spec. wanted to main helltooth this season, but nothing but spider shit and the starter set, with a few random ancients here and there.

And are there many more cool legendary mojos? Right now I have this fucking level 19 one that I keep on because allowing spirit barrage to have 2 fucking glyphs active at once is amazing, especially when one is a 720% damage aoe.

Rerolls should cost 25 souls instead of 50, and bosses in grifts should have more telegraphed abilities, that a skilled player would be able to avoid, instead of getting one shot by random rng shit.

Yes, its very fun but also a real fucking slog at first.

Probably the fairest F2P game outside of the ones you cant compete with like Dota 2.

Economy is fantastic and fucking genius, its all based off of consumables, no gold exists. Rather fantastic visuals.

Issue is, its slow as FUCK at first, your character just moves and attacks slow, worse than D2 starting off. You do(can) turn into crazy shit later.

Worse itemization than D2, but better than D3. Uniques are not end all be all like D2(sadly) but offer new ways to play, very few unique are end all be all and are the hardest to get.(like some boots that have a small chance to drop off the hardest map in the game and getting access to that hardest map each time is very time consuming)

End Game involves "Maps" in which you put together map pieces to create 1 map or use 1 map piece to create 1 map. They add effects, monsters, buffs, debuffs, more drops, less, and all have a boss.

Its skill system is pretty much exactly like FF7 Materia System and has a huge grid you use to dictate what you level up.

Its great, but tough to get into at first, and a slog at first, but very great by the end. You 100% need to look up a build before playing.

Learning the Economy is much harder than D2 as well.

The economy and currency are total fucking dogshit, the game is literally made for d2jsp tards who like playing virtual stockbroker more than actually playing the game.

You forgot to mention your ability to do endgame content is completely reliant on rng drops.

Also both the skillgem system and passive skilltree are complete trainwrecks, basically 99% fake complexity with only a few correct ways to do it, and if you do anything else your character with blow cock. Also the skillgem, link and socket color system is yet an another way to induce more rng currency bullshit.

Leveling is boring as shit and just like D3 there's no real "challenge" until the very upper tiers of content where boss health shoots through the roof and things 1 shot you. Maps drop like candy now so your end game pool is no longer annoying to keep up.

Just don't fall too hard for the YOU CAN DO ANYTHING that people push, there's of course a meta and if you follow it you can throw together some pretty mediocre gear and face roll 99% of the content at twice the speed of other builds.
