I'd say it's pretty even, though slightly favoured to Federer. Mainly because throughout his career he's been to Australia and its other tournaments quite often, plus being Swiss he's naturally a better English speaker and just generally a nicer and more open guy compared to Nadal, who is seen as more of an intense, player. Though Nadal is a lovely guy off the court.
