I had a couple questions I wanted to ask, haven't played this game before but I've been looking at tutorials and reviews before I invest a fuck ton of time into it.
I'm looking to be either a human or Norn but I'm not sure class to pick.. I usually go with whatever two-handed weapon class the game has, so I imagine that'd be the warrior. Are they a decent class? I'm looking for a class with maximum DPS that isn't a caster class or a class with a balance between DPS/tank. The necromancer is about the only other caster class I'd consider.

How is the late game content?
How long does it take to max?
Is there a stat spec thing in the game? In case I mess up my stats or what not?

Warrior seems up your alley. Greatsword is great.

It's more a place to spend money than a place to make money. There are some neat exclusive items, but those won't matter until post-post-80.

That's an iffy question. I like fractals, WvW and raids, but your mileage may vary.

Stats are based on your level and your armor, so no worries on that front. You'll unlock abilities and passives as you level and you can't reset them, but you have enough points to buy everything at 80 anyways.

Warrior is very easy to level up and do solo open world stuff. They have really good mobility (via greatsword and sword) and are durable to take on tougher fights while leveling.

Because it doesn't offer much to the team. Sure, it can pubstomp baddies on far but that can only do so much for the team. Your team fight is weak and you can't really outnumber enemies. Overall, power shatter is basically a worse version of thief.
