Laggia/Dolka isn't an engine, they're an end goal. Engines fuel your plays and make things happen.

This is the curse every combo deck faces.
Even if you manage to not missplay once in the duel and open broke, Maxx "C" getting dropped means you just lost your entire turn and a well timed Veiler/Ghost Ogre or Solemn/Barrier means everything is ruined.

The design of quick effects was a mistake, it not only made traps near useless and redundant but it promoted an unhealthy playstyle of opening as many as possible as then watching your opponent lose trying to break it.

The entire lunalight archtype is good in their own ways, thick or not. those legs are too much for me.

Assuming those three monsters are alone with one or two backrow cards. You can break that board with at least 3 spells and 2 effect monsters assuming you baited the opponent into negating a raigeki and a dark hole and then you just bait the shit out of Crystal wang and then you proceed to summon the rat and win.

Stratos has always been legal in the OCG, the only problematic card left in HERO is Dark Law which won't be hit because even Konami knows that's the last reason why HERO can be considered anything but a pile of bad card designs ranging from over a decade.
This is the sentiment I share but I guess Konami got tired of how Shaddolls could always adapt to any meta circumstance.
