Still i think thats a comfy one. mine got fucked by villagers getting their shit too close for proper roads.

It depends almost entirely of your imagination, as long as you can make a good town of it, is a good layout.

When I redid my town all my good layouts were soiled by having a pig as initial neighbors, it was uncanny.

You could maybe turn it into a cute little shopping district if you put the coffee shop between the two on the right. Not sure what you could do with the left one though.

The ponds are all close enough to one side of the map that they aren't the biggest deal. But that initial bridge position is horrible.
