It's awful. I literally walk to the other side of the stage and just time them out if they don't leave. Sure I could spot dodge or avoid the grab but why risk my stock playing with fire in those kinds of situations when I don't need to?
Applies to anyone with a killing back throw.
Never play into their hands, even if you have to sit at the other side of the stage all game. Same thing applies to dorfs who fish for epic flame choke dunks at the ledge. As long as you have a projectile, throw it at them from a safe distance
