Did you know that Molten Core was not tuned for preraid bis, consumables and people actually using optimised specs? It was actually assumed it'll be 40 people with roughly all buffs they can have on their side and that they will have some gear on. On Rag, required dps to kill him before sons is literally 200 per dps, not counting tanks.
BWL was lenient as fuck in this regard too.
First raid that actually pushed people's shit in when it comes to carrying dead weight in the 40man group was AQ40, and it was also quite forgiving.
