The only problem og Nost had was the lag from the massive amount of chinks. Now we still have the chinks but on top of that corrupt administration, hacked accounts left and right, no anti cheat and general incompetence from the staff.

Having a blast with my horde warlock with 4 of my RL friends. We were a bit underleveled for WC (which makes the experience all the more intense), our tank was lvl 16. We aren't the greatest players but we played vanilla a lot.

After the run everyone was like "Yeah, wtf, WC isnt a hard dungeon but you can't fuck around." All was shit and giggles until we entered the dungeon, then it was all srs business, making the right pulls, stay focused for 2 long hours.

Yeah, call us noob or whatever you want but we had an awesome experience, even the vanilla doubter (legion player) was pleasantly surprised. :) Just want to show the other side of the shitstorm about hacking and "this server sucks" comments lately.

This is the quickest fall from grace I've ever seen from a heralded server. It literally lost it's entire reputation in ~two days.

Still not as bad as playTBC.

The slavs in charge of this server have had a shitty reputation for years. People just naively assumed that linking up with Nostalrius and taking their core would improve things.

The fact that anyone was hyped for playTBC has the retardation pinned on them, not on the staff. Anyone with an IQ of 80+ could see it would suck ass.

Oh, I didn't follow too closely because it was as predictable as TORtanic, but my point remains

It was up for 1 day. Then they rescheduled the launch for 1 week later, then it was up almost another day. All in all, total uptime was almost a full day.

I feel like Mages and to some extent Warlocks are the perfect vanilla classes. Both have amazing CC, high damage, great utility, tier sets that give solid bonuses instead of wacky shit like extra range on auras (pally t2 for example why the fuck is that a set bonus) and warlocks even get a free mount. Interacting with them in wpvp on the opposing faction is cancer and they're op in pvp at 60.

I can see why they're among the highest played classes
