Just installed a short shifter today, it actually feels so much better. I recommend anyone with a manual to get a short shifter its so much better.

It's good if your stick is connected to your gearbox, but for cars with linkages it might throw it out of gear or not go in right if it's too short, etc. But they are good.

I've also been told by mechanics and other people in the industry that it's possible to get a defect for tyres being the wrong size, or having wheels with an offset different than stock. Could get a defect for having 195/60R14's instead of 185/60R14's.
