Fucking goddamn it. I hate that this game only leaves the best items to the fattest of whales. The American ninja one is tacky but I may waste the last of my collected drinks to get it.

Top 200 isn't that hard to get. 16 drinks during a boost should be enough to get it.

Plus, they're doing that daily drink thing again (when did they start that?) so you can get 3 a day for the whole event, instead of just 15 for 500, if you can afford it.

I'm not sure if this counts as a useful strategy, but I mostly only use the full power challenge (3 event power balls) option when I can get higher than average points. This causes me to save the items that are harder to get.
Also if you don't care about your twitter account- use it to tweet about the game to replenish your chat stamina

But usually my main(and best) strategy is to get event point multiplyers haha
