You can apply different highlights to each eye so you can adjust them

yes. Open the body tab, enter the .xx name*without the .xx), enter the frame name, edith the SRT and apply. There was an example a couple thread back with the iris rotated. Not true, you can apply different eye textures but not highlights.

We don't have a unified launcher for the Maker though, right?
Last I check, you just make the base card in Maker, then you have to go back and forth between AA2 and ReiEdit to fine tune it.

I went back to win7 from win10. After running the registry fixer to run the game I received an error which says "The program can't start because api-ms-win-core-registry-l1-1-0.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem"
Will I actually have to reinstall the game or is there a way to fix this?
