My problem isn't winning "duels" while invading, it's that I was constantly invading people who were just sitting by the bonfire and summoning in duels, instead of people who were actually trying to run through the area. Maybe I was just invading at bad times, or is there some sort of weird ettiquette that people expect while in those areas?

I'm pretty sure SL30 isn't too high for Cathedral or Farron Keep though.

What is the funnest unique weapon in the DS3?

My first playtrough was pure-dex and I just used katanas the whole time, and that was frankly quite boring, I want to play the game with a really interesting weapon next.

I forgot to mention, I already used crow quills and the crow talons, but I got them quite late in the game, so I only used them against Friede really.

The throwing dagger gimmick of the quills is interesting for a dex weapon, it's still mostly a rapier. I'll play more with it in New game +, when I bother continuing with my dex character.

There are some bosses that are made easier by blocking, but the thing is, the investment to make that into all you do is not worth it in my opinion.

Shields are good, but I wouldn't rely on them as your only defense, as there are enemies that can just chomp trough your stamina.

It definitely makes parts of PVE much easier, especially mobs but also certain bosses (a good enough shield/greatshield can block the entirety of some of Champ's combos, or make Nameless King's second phase a joke, etc.). You definitely still need to get good at rolling though, since even mobs will start doing shield bashes to break your guard, and beating bosses without a shield feels way more satisfying than just standing there and taking it. "Investing" into blocking isn't a huge deal anyways unless you're using a shield that requires Twinkling or Scales, just make sure you prioritize your weapon first and foremost.

DaS1: Arguably everything but BoC, but Sif, Gwyn, Artorias, Manus and Kalameet are pretty kickass.

DaS2: Pursuer, all of the Old Ones, LKG, Donger Man, Sinh, Alonne, Burnt Ivory King, Aldia.

DaS3: It'd be easier to name the ones that didn't look awesome, the problem is that a lot of them like Abyss Watchers, Yhorm and Wyvern play like ass.

After gwynn I can choose weather to go to NG++ or stay in NG+. If I chose to stay, would i never be able to proceed to NG++?

mlgs for example has the most range out of the fast swinging greatswords and has an r2 that can fuck people on wakeup. in pve there's a lot of enemies that resist magic so it's not that great.

Cutting Kalameet's tail seems significantly harder than the boss itself.
