I like how nostfags are entering the "server hopping in hopes that the next server will be THE one" stage.

Mining is too fun not to take. The comfiness of walking around looking for those yellow spots is king.

It's worse than nostalrius was at launch, rag was exploited to shit, database hacked, chinks are half the population, tons of things broken from group loot to escorts simply vanishing.
Kronos is a better scripted server by far.

In fact, Valkyrie devs couldn't script aq40 in 8 fucking yeara, meanwhile HG devs do all of TBC.
Elysium is horrible, it is not worth it.

They've been hopping generals like mad, they should just go back to kronos

Is leveling 1-60 generally the same process in TBC as it is in vanilla?

With x2 experience will it be best to just grind out hardcore all the way to 60 for the most part?

Not at all. With the 2x and experience changes in TBC you're still doing /most/ of the zones but you aren't hopping from one zone to the next to a third one and then back to the first for 2 levels like in vanilla and you get to skip a few of the shittier zones.

you grind only so that you can avoid moving zones or continents so you'll be mostly questing in 2x for efficiency

not at all, x2 2.4.3 TBC leveling is a fucking breeze compared to x1 vanilla, you'll only have a hard time if you are leveling a warrior or a priest, and even then I wouldnt call it a hard time, shit's just slow senpai

It's basically the same thing, yeah. It's probably take you two weeks instead of a month though to hit 60 I guess. And 60 to 70 isn't horrible if you aren't tired of the quests. Expect to hit 70 around sometime when the guild disbands.
