in training mode the ai always recovers before it hits him. for my human my y x y x doesnt stun long enough to have the start up combo at the end. I guess I can use murder grenade or gravity surge or whatever perfect cells move is too.

My dudes, how do I deal with fridges?
Playing in the Frieza invasion event on PS4 atm and metal Cooler/any Cooler keeps wrecking me. None if the other opponents get more than a few hits on me at all.
I just can't deal with that fridge speed (playing as human). If I make a single slip up they just combo me until death. TPing behind them only gets me tailslapped everytime.

Block or backstep after you TP.

Make sure to backhit when they tp, do the combo that knocks them away and fire a big blast at them

Backstep or sidestep after a vanish. You have i-frames. Also, wait till they use an attack that has a longer recovery, don't just vanish when they backhit and get caught in another backhit.

What I do is find a combo that has a vanish in it for no cost (for example, female human HLLL) then cancel the vanish button press into BBA. Opponent flies into it, startup catches them.
Mind this can still be vanished.
Hard knockdown combos like female saiyan HLHLL can go directly into it if done near the ground.

Hit is the only new mentor that's not free.

It's fast and keeps the target suspended long enough to hit them with almost any other super.
Use it out of a basic combo though, because it requires melee range to actually hit it.

Yeah, but it seems to get the Mentor Pack in Europe, you have to register for Namco's VIP thing.

It's more that everything does about the same damage unless you minmax the fuck out of it.
In XV1 putting 100 points in ki blasts gave you 100% more damage with ki blasts.
In XV2 putting 125 in ki blasts gives you 15% damage with ki blasts.
Most of your damage comes from your level, not your attributes.

Pretty much, yeah.
But if you REALLY want to minmax a specific type of supers then you can get about a 50-60% increase with the right QQ, Super Soul, Attributes and thickness.

But your attribute points shouldn't really be geared towards that because you can shift your spec by ~40% at any time with items.
So you can just make a balanced base and then keep presets for ki, strikes etc.

I'm still early on and I have 65 in Ki Supers and thats it
