Stop doing drugs. Scratches are fine, especially if the alternative is shilling lots of money and waste lots of time. Unless you have an expensive bike then it's not worth it.
Scratches can look worse than sub-$100 paint jobs and prep work done by the neighbor's kids, especially on fairings where the whole thing rubs on the road and basically falls apart even at 5mph
