How do I fix squads being stuck "infiltrating" or "on mission" long after their missions have been completed in LW2? I've reinstalled the game and the mod, and LW2 is the only mod I'm using this time but I still get the issue on a fresh campaign.

Not necessarily, I'm playing pure Long Wang and I'm getting the same bug non-stop. No other mods have ever even been installed.

Sounds like an oversight, but on the bright side it's virtually impossible for a disoriented overwatch to actually hit anything.

Some people are reporting that if you remove Anarchy's Children, it fixes the issue.

Completely exit the game and reload the latest save. If you don't actually exit you'll get it again.

I've just been making a manual save right before the mission ends to fix this shit when it happens, so you don't have to replay the final turn or anything.

That's a nice op. I only lost one civie because of the shoot on activation mechanic. Technicals and Shinobis really shine when you get into those very claustrophobic close contact situations.

If it wasn't fetish related this would be a cool boss enemy. Imagine the tail taking up multiple spaces behind the main "unit" which is just the humanoid part of the snake.

They shoot twice and due to the nature of how they work will almost always hit you. They also tend to crit alot. At the end of their turn will usually use their last move setting up a cone-based death ray beam that will fire next turn. Get the fuck out of the way it is highly likely anyone caught in will be 1 shot.

I completed the mission and called in an evac after I realized the enemies were dead.

First a normal transport showed up with 4 soldiers and a drone.

Then 10+ aliumns would teleport 5 feet away from me.
I had to wait 9 turns before I could evac. Am I supposed to call for evac 8 turns before I complete the objective?

Feeling like "shit" and being "boring" are two different things.
Fundamentally LW2 is a lot slower and less action packed, which is great in its own way.

Hey guys I wanna play XCOM real bad especially now that Long War is out. HOWEVER it runs like dogshit for me, especially in the menus. It's playable but truly a struggle. Any advice on optimizing?

You're supposed to do it the same turn you're revealed. The only reason to not put down an evac site immediately is it breaks concealment.

It can, it depends on what you took on the mission, ADVENT's preparedness, and the threat level of the mission. Generally, the less you take and the lower their preparedness, the faster you can go. I've seen 1-turn evacs on Legend, it definitely shouldn't be taking you 9 turns.

How do I fix resistance HQ not appearing on the geoscape map? I can adjust resistance tasks through the menu, but I can't fly my Avenger there. Mousing over the radio mast symbol zooms the map to the arctic ocean, north of the Bering Strait, which I'm guessing is map origin or something.
It happened once, and I redid Gatecrasher, only to have it happen again. I can waste three days scanning for the black market, but after that, I can no longer pass time because there's nowhere for the Avenger to go.

Don't fucking do that shit. Infiltration is basically the biggest thing you need to be doing. Always go with the smallest squad you can reasonably get away with (for certain missions, a two man team is best). Always infiltrate as much as you can. Don't think about it like normal X2, where you jam the A-Team every mission, LW2 is far more subtle and complex.

How do you do a mission with a 2 man group?

Stealth and running a lot.

Basically, shinobi/specialist for hacks/jailbreaks and shinobi/sniper for kill the VIP missions. You use the shinobi to scout out pods and move around them while you use the specialist/sniper as a mission expert who does their thing. You toss an evac the turn you go loud/hack the objective and leg it the fuck out of there. If you killed an enemy, YOU DID IT WRONG.

Solid snaking and delaying tactics. Make sure you have 15+ mobility and only attempt it on Very light and below

I don't know, i can do the whole sneaking thing but by the end when you have to call in firebrand it just gets fucked, my 3 guys can't survive 3 pods of ayys shooting at them for 4 turns.

Titanfall ports have only 2 legs for the females, but they both have a nice ass.
