If you use a character that's not in the game's default files (pretty much everyone added), they're crash, but otherwise, you'll be fine.

As far as I know, kind of. Skin turns purple, plating turns gold and the jewel like tumors turn purple as well. You don't really keep anything.

Yes, some stages are much better for posing. The tuffle planet has a good boxy wall for closeups and stuff. waist high stuff works bretty gud too or stages with canyons and cliffs
