It seems like Yuzusoft is afraid to go full out with romance or anything of the sort. They need some kind of weird plot point behind it. Noble Work's Expected girl seemed to handle the serious plot drama a bit better but everything else was lack luster.

Shizuru's is so goddamn annoying because I remember it takes MC the longest to reveal the truth to her so you know the longer the route goes on, you know how that the drama bomb will be that much worse.
