Honestly, I know it sounds weird but I always loved Impmon turning into Beelzemon Blast Mode in Tamers. It has no sequence, but just him slowing down and then seeing that he turned into Beelzemon on his next steps always was one of my favourite moments in tamers. As far as animation goes, I probably like Wargreymon/Metalgarurumon or all the Biomerges in Tamers the most.

It's not that Bamco abandoned Nintendo, they still have a great working relationship. It's just that they felt like they didn't want to compete directly with Pokemon. If Digimon was on a Nintendo system, it would feel like even more of a cheap knockoff of a more successful series.

I'm sure if enough people wanted it, they wouldn't mind putting games on Nintendo consoles. Also, considering that the Switch is looking to take over much of Nintendo's handheld market, and the Vita is dying a slow painful death, we may just get Digimon on the Switch.

DQ tried to release a bunch of them and in the end they had to fall back to the first they released DQM super light because its a waste to compete with yourself with more than one game that plays the same, digimon links already plays 3v3 digimon battles so there wont be any other didigmon game coming to phones for a long ass time

Well there exist a lot of ports of Xbox, Ps2, PC, DS and even 3DS games and once bth the 3DS and PSVITA are completely dead this year maybe Mobile will get better games i don't know. It's happening with Professor Layton after all

Its unfortunate I remember there was a time like 5 years ago when people thought mobile could be a huge thing for independent developers, now the charts are dominated by free to play games with huge marketing campaigns.
Mobile has become a stagnant playground in record time.
I see your point about moving kids games that were planned for 3DS to phones, we will see what happens but I dont think they will be successful at all.

Digimon Crusader had an Olympos 12 Storyline. It's where they finished the line.

It's really time to move on from the Royal Knights though, we're still even getting them on Digimon Tri and Appmon sort of because Hackmon. Maybe they'll be in the next Digimon Story game?

I find it odd how no videogame that tries to be a sequel to Digimon World takes place outside of File Island.

Even Adventure ended up on the continent of Server, but Server actually was foreshadowed in Digimon World with a map on the wall.

Come on guys it's called DIGIMON WORLD not Digimon File Island.

There isn't much point when the File Island got the mons from Server later on. Like you got your Ultimates, your Metalgreymon (Vaccine), your Whamon Perfect, etc.

I just find it funny how he went from Trolling a small island, to hacking an entire world, to blowing up multiverses. I mean talk about serial escalation.

exploration? World 3 andmaybe the DS games were the only ones I can think of where you could say "this is a whole digital world" 1, Re Digitize and N0 have an island, 2 has the visually same dungeons for 50 times, 4 had 4 areas, And CS takes place in Tokio, and Yggdrassil
