is it me or is there very little snow this year
Is it me or is there very little snow this year
I guess it depends on where you live. I live in suburban Maryland, don't even think we've had 2 inches of snow this season. Kinda sucks, but at least I'm not shoveling it.
You're right. I haven't seen a bit of snow here in South GA.
we've have like green Christmases and grass showing half the winter for the past few years or more
doesn't change all the stupid salt everywhere though
fuck the salt
Never even put the plow on this year. Only one snow fall even worth mentioning.
This year and last year have been bullshit winters, still have fogging oil in the sled.
We just got 10 inches last week. Today we got I think about 6 inches.
Tomorrow and monday we're supposed to get up to 2 feet of snow and Thursday is supposed to have a lot too.
Fuck Maine.
MN here
40's forecasted this week
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Weather has been wack, I was driving my Miata with the top down today in mid February. Not 2 days ago we had snow, it was pushing 70 even earlier this week.
Which doubly sucks because the only reason I am keeping my subie at this point is because of winter, I even bought winter tires for it...
Iktf
>buy WRX
>winter tires
>spend winter in Wisconsin
>only snowed a few times during my stay
Tonight you're gonna get 6 inches bro
If you know what I mean
More like 24 inches.
Barely 2.5 feet of total snowfall this winter so far... irks the shit out of m
Temperatures have too often been much too low for decent snow
>t shirt
m'nigga
>no snow
>dry
>they still go around pouring salt everywhere as soon as there are freezing temperatures
It's you. Last night I went out looking for back roads that hadn't been plowed well and went full dagumi while humming eurobeat
Nebraska here.... 3 feet of snow this winter so average ish. Too bad it melts so fast. Busting snow drifts and mud bogging in the same day.
Fug that, you up on Svalbard?
southwest sask here
less than average snowfall and everytime we get a good pack it seems to warm up for a couple days and melt it all, then it drops to minus 30C for three weeks and repeats
Aye in Saskatoon I feel that. Got some good snow yesterday night though.
yeah there is
Nah, Trysil in Hedmark
Temperatures are varying so much also. This photo is old, but today when I left home at 8 AM it was -23c, -20c a few kilometres south, then -22 about 15 minutes further south and then -6 when I got to where I was going, 74km south of where I started
i was in rosetown yesterday, they had some good snow banks with lots of sled tracks
3 Blizzards in central ND the fuck are you on op?
Got quite a bit this year
>just got six inches or so a few days ago
>it's already melted
>rest of the week is supposed to be 50°+
>snow tires turning out to be a waste of money
>roads still covered in salt and craters
Fuck Pennsylvania; shit is way too unpredictable here
Michiganfag here. Weather's been on/off with snow. The amount of salt everywhere though makes me afraid to look under my focus
>he fell for the snow tires meme
Coloradofag (Denver) here, it was 80 degrees on Friday (hottest February day on record). Days like that I wish I had a weekender car on summer tires to drive
We've had 3-4 snowstorms this year so far, the mountains have been getting tons of snow though. Our snowiest months are March and April though which is when we typically get our 1+ft storms though so it's hard to say.
>salt rusting the shit out of your car
>also making the roads wet and super dirty
Fucking REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
We're getting 20-26in+ up here tonight into tomorrow
pics?
Not shit here in the midwest
Had 8" in Seattle last week and wound up at work maybe 1 day. Glorious salary
Supposed to be 11 on thursday... I'd be okay if it stayed that way!
How old is that image? NY hasn't had those plates in years.
>is it me or is there very little snow this year
Hopefully California will not be so desperate for water this summer, but it doesn't look good when the groundwater levels are so depleted despite the rains.
>they still go around pouring salt everywhere as soon as there are freezing temperatures
Ahh, that reminds me to wash the underside of the car again to remove salt. Moving all the groceries and the latest electronic toy made me forget to rinse the sides and bottom off.
