I was watching their stream for the announcement. I felt the same. Now we all know some of the companies shove some money towards evo I wonder if SNK did though. They're not as big as they used to, but their mobile stuff seems to be doing decently well and XIV getting a ps4 bundle in china is a good sign. I'm still leaning towards evo getting no cash from SNK. Especially since it was a supposed curve ball.

I didn't really care if KOF14 didn't get mainstage. The community would've made its own hype side-tourney anyway, most likely backed by SNK. Side-tourneys are always more fun to watch than mainstage.

I hope they fix the mics, because I could barely hear the crowd cheering last year. And I think I can forget about crowd monsters and thuggery in this day and age.

Evo is the fighting game tournament with most visibility in west.
Having game to be at evo, at main stage, gives it eyeballs that it couldn't get otherwise and those eyeballs are potential new players.
For a game that could use more players, more pr, getting to EVO mainstage is way useful.

Nice, just like announced. I remember reading that they would be released on the 26th and it is technically the 26th in china already. I thought that Nakoruru would get a Rimururu costume or something, but since Nakoruru wanted to hang aound a bit more and pretty much has the body of a 15 year old I can dig it. Shun's is not what I expected, but since he's Chinese I'll take it. I wonder what Sylvie will get when her's is released.

I also wonder when we'll get them too. It was supposedly by the end of the month. I wonder if they'll be free or paid.

Apparently the costumes will go live at 10 am in asia. That's about 3-4 hours from now depending if you go by chinese time or Japanese/korean time.
