As far as I can tell there is no non-smash fighting games played at my college. I play melee so I can get by but not even any SFV babies or anime autismos to be found. At most I saw a loud group of asians playing BB with controllers and they didn't know combos they just mashed.

Street fighter's designs are way better than tekken.

Most of the tekken cast is dudes wearing leather, dudes wearing pants with no shirt, or dudes wearing gis.

There is no tekken character with as good a design as bison, guile, or juri.

Urien alone beats anything Tekken has ever done. SF created the archetype for about 70% of every fighting game character ever created since its birth. The only other interesting characters can be found in anime games, definitely not in Tekken.

Soul Calibur: best characters out of all the 3d games
