i'm more interested in the GTE spec version, it surprised me at daytona.

It was the GT3 version and it was very fast for the majority of the race but it got beat up trading paint with other cars and ultimately lost the race because of it. It did very well for its first race ever though.

I've never seen Integras get shit on the way other FFs do.

If you have weight on the rear and extra downforce on the rear you are putting less weight on the front of the vehicle.

When you turn and have less weight on the front, that means less turning ability. In turn (ha a pun faggot) you will understeer, because a huge fucking lack of traction on the front wheels.

That's actually a thing, similar to if you drop into a lower gear into its high rpm range from another gear, you can induce a sudden oversteer because of the wheel spin difference, Not good for the engine but is a thing.

Just pushing the clutch in allows the wheels to roll at the proper pace of the car and not the speed of the engine/transmission, meaning you will get traction back bring the car into a oversteer.

This is pretty fucking common circuit knowledge.

Nah, these really do blow, and it's not just because they're 30 y/o cars. They shake and rattle like fuck and for all the rep they get about longevity, a Benz or Town Car of that era will still outlast it while also being supremely comfortable cars.

It's any time when the rear tires would be outside of the center line of the vehicle.

It doesn't have to be sliding like a fucking madman, Pushing in the clutch disengages the wheels from the driveline, This means the wheels will roll with the vehicles speed to the ground, no the vehicles driveline speed to the ground. That means you will have generated a greater amount of traction during that time, If you pop the clutch quickly you can dive the nose of the car in in a corner and then engage the driveline again giving you power.

It's a way to oversteer a fwd into a sharper corner.

To make it easier for you to understand another way of doing this is similar to hard braking a forward brake biased vehicle.

The sudden speed change at the front wheels when you disengage the clutch and then suddenly engage it again will cause the tail to slide out of the vehicle, generating oversteer.
