Do you have any road courses near you?

Flyover states and shitholes with 1/8th mile dirt ovals and shitty drag strips patronized by Cletus Bob McHiggins Mullet Trailer Park and his 9 sister-cousin-wives need not apply.

>watkins glen is over 400 miles away
>Bridgehampton replaced by shitty golf course
>going to the Garbage State for """"""fun"""""
>Lime Rock is in Connecticutwrists and is too fucking short
>no other state nearby has a track worth mentioning

There are a few by me, but the one closest is absolutely awful with their online presence and that always turns me off from patronizing things.

That and I don't wanna show up to a course with my automatic Camry.

I live about 2 hours away from Brainerd International Raceway, apparently. I'm not sure if they have open track days, though they do have open drag racing and drifting events, apparently.

we may have CARB and SMOG, but at least we have sears point/sonoma raceway

Lime Rock is an hour and a half away and there aint nothing wrong with Connecticut.

Englishtown is for drift/drag racing trash. Should be avoided at all costs.

Virgina international raceway is about 8 hours away.

I heard they

*i heard they are bring back a drag strip to Long Island

Along with Laguna Seca and Thunder Hill within a 2 hour drive

there's an airport 15 minutes drive away that they do drag racing on sometimes.

Cayuga, Shannonville, and Mosport complex all within 2ish hours of me.

Watkins Glen is under 5 hours away and the F1 circuit in Montreal is under 6.

There's a 1/3rd mile paved oval track about 30 mins away too.

nothing famous near me, but we have this one

that and the pike's peak hill climb

>thunder hill
>willingly going to the I5 corridor
no thanks

Only about 30 miles away from me in flyover-land.

>Watkins Glen like 6 hours away
>lame new Palmer club track
>NHMS a shit
>Lime Rock a shit
At least New Hampshire has short tracks. Wish I had time to go.

>Literally 3 tracks to reach over 100 MPH within a 3 hour drive of Madison
>One of which is one of the oldest tracks in america
Fuck I love Wisconsin.

Gingerman, Grattan, and Waterford Hills are about 2 hrs from me. Never been to Waterford, but Grattan and Gingerman are a blast.

Road Atlanta, and a few drag strips/tracks to the northeast. All within 400 miles.

Silverstone

Doesn't Atlanta motorsports Park have a road course as well?

Closest to me is the new Circuit of Wales

If they build it...

not bad for a third world shithole

I live 15 minutes from the Zandvoort GP track, Assen TT track is 2 and a bit hours away, Spa Francorchamps is just over 3 hours away with a trailer. :)

Heartland Park in Topeka, KS is about an hour from me.

Silverstone isn't too far away. Donington Park is a couple of hours away. Thruxton is close by, too.

Actually driven on Donington, too. Admittedly, I was being driven around it in a bus at the festival they hold there, but I got to walk on it too.

2 hours away from auto24 circuitĀ“, and stone throw away from bunch of rally stages.
An abandoned airfield with race track on it is 20 mins from my parents house.

>2017
>not living in california
no matter where you are, you're in driving distance of at least 2 or 3 tracks

Living close to philly, the only "tracks" nearby are drag strips and dirt tracks

I currently live in Connecticut and i want to live in California mainly because of the weather and car culture

You always hear people bitch about gun laws, emissions and it being a commie state but truth is while I believe in defending the 2nd amendment, I like cars way more and its all I actually care about.

isn't it possible to pay off some1 when it comes to emissions?

PA is garbage.

skrait up

yes absolutely, although it's a little bit harder to do that now with a few laws they have introduced, it's still possible. i do it on my firebird.

im not a gunfag but some of my friends are and they complain but still have all kinds of guns and shit so i don't see the problem

>firebird
What gen?

Oschersleben, Lausitzring and Sachsenring are a two hour drive away each, but track days are retardedly expensive and restrictive.

2nd gen, its a 77

cops wont look under your hood for anything suspicious unless you're driving a rice burner

Summit Point, 20 minutes down the road.
It's actually a pretty impressive track with a scaled down with the section of the casserole from Nurburgring.

nice, dad had a 76

not the person you replied to but the dude that wants to move to California here,

I have a miata with a 1.8 swap

The car doesnt attract any attention. its black, fairly quiet and has a rollbar. Would I be fucked?

ur gonna need a extra set of cat on the header to go though smog or something..
Side note:maybe LS swap that Miata?

Driven at Silverstone, Brands Hatch and Rockingham
Spectated at Donington
Haven't been to Thruxton or Snetterton

All the above are within 2.5 hours of me. Cadwell Park is a bit further
