you can parry from range and every move in the game can be parried aside from jump attacks which i consider one of main BB problems

They build they played probably had pre-made characters with all the DLC weapons, armors and spells in their inventories. Even if they didn't get far into the DLC, they already know all the items that can be obtained, and can also piece together some bits of story from the item descriptions.

I guess they got to play with the new weapons in the arena like the last time, on the previous DLC. Last DLC the streamers invited didn't actually spoil that much (for example Peeve). IGN and others showed more weapons than what the streamers were allowed to show, and the game was released early on Xbone so that's where most of the spoilers came from.
