I really liked Hoshi's voice acting in that scene where Haru asked what Goro's sense of justice meant and Aoi Yuuki's voice acting in that scene where she confessed everything to Sojiro. They both were great.

Eh I wouldn't go that far. Nobody was bad, but Anne Ryuji and Haru were really nothing special. Or at least they didn't get any scenes to really show off their acting chops.

It's even a common complaint on the Japanese boards that they expected a better performance out of Nana Mizuki than the average performance she gave in Persona 5.

I didn't think Sugita's performance was amazing either, but it could be because Yusuke's not the type to get emotional often. Though Sugita is a god tier casting choice so nobody complains.

anne and ryuji had great awakening scenes, anne had the kamoshida confrontation, and ryuji did most of the talking during the shidou confrontation.

Actually, I think it's supposed to show you that people get forcefully ejected out of a palace once it collapses. Previously, they always got out before it collapsed.

He can't be blown out of the perimeter of the palace since it's so huge. They had to DRIVE to the pyramid that was Futaba's palace. He says when he came to he was laying on the grass not far away. There was no grass in Shidou's palace so we assume he was already in the real world.

I think it's only because he got blown into the water, if he was hit by debris I guess it would've been a different story. But it does show that a real person doesn't disappear along with a palace.

You can't say that for certain. We don't know enough about the rules of the Palace to make statements like this. For all we know, Shido's palace could be much smaller in perimeter than the others.

I'm not saying for certain, and you can't say for certain either, but the fact is palaces can be huge. Ryuji woke up in the real world so either way he got ejected from it for some reason.

You sure? For Kamoshida's and Shido's palaces they always started at the entrance. For Futaba's on the other hand, every time you arrived it was in Morgana's bus. That implied her one is far larger than the others. For the escape of hers, they were driving away, but for Kamoshida's they were just trying to get to the entrance, and the threat came from them being so high up.

And palaces extend to much further beyond the building that is the palace itself, example: Sae's palace and Kamoshida's palace extended to the buildings nearby. They never mentioned anything about a perimeter of a palace either, the only way to enter and leave isekai is through the app, or in this case, if the palace ceased to exist itself.

you arrive at the entrance for convenience of the game. did you forget that Sae's palace extended to the police building nearby and the underground interrogation room?

Palaces are essentially manifestations of the way a person sees the world around them. It's hard to say if there even are any boundaries besides the boundaries of the world itself. The way to exit the palace is usually by coming back to the place where you entered in the first place. You can probably also bring other people back this way, or otherwise the shenanigans at Madarame Palace when Yusuke joins would make no sense.

Why can't the movies draw human proportions?

It's significant to show it here because a big heist always has that last big obstacle that the group has to overcome. And also because someone seemingly died in the palace but the body never showed up in the real world.

The danger is not getting erased from existence by not getting out of a palace in time. The danger is being crushed by a palace when it is collapsing.
