immedietly or as soon as you feel comfortable, you don't really learn how the game is played against the AI. Focus on learning the maps and all the operator abilities and how they interplay. map knowledge is the strongest fundamental, I would even say over being a good shot

Jump into casual as soon as you have 2 or 3 operators unlocked for both defense and attack. You should wait until about level 60 before you try ranked since you won't know the maps very well.

Castle is of debatable use, especially for a new player since he's countered by a lot of breaching tools which are very common and if you aren't careful you'll lock your own team down and limit their mobility. Blitz is sadly bugged and often his shield is useless and you get shot in the head right through it.

Rook is a great beginner OP and he translates all the way up to pro level. Thatcher is a useful buddy for thermite/hibana and thermite is important to have on most team comps but you need to be careful to stay alive and of course know where to breach.

Blitz and castle were pretty bad choices desu
get jager/bandit, ash, and mute/smoke, they're all pretty good and not that had to use.

Montagne is rergarded as the beter shield operator than Blitz, and it's easy to screw your team over with poor Castle placement. I think your next choices should be Mute, Twitch, Montagne, Bandit, Fuze.

My advice on next OP is Doc. He's rook's twin with another straightforward ability. Just hold that point and keep your team alive, with drug--err prescription pharmaceuticals

Literally why? No offense new guy but an experienced player will be better off playing the meta ops. He'll just waste their usefulness, if he even gets to pick them before someone else does instantly.

Man I fucking wish those lines played in Casual too. There was a decent amount of work put into all of the ops and their quips, but it's such a rarity to ever hear them. I'd play TH more but every time I try it's a ghost town.
