It seems perfect for me as my first car. Obviously you trade practicality for a rwd mid engine convertible but for that price its almost a steal. Please tell me what flaws this car might have and your overall thoughts.

>Please tell me what flaws this car might have
It's a Toyota

...

OP here, why? Toyota's are known for "it just works" meme. Parts are not cheap but hey, how much can parts for 15 yo car cost?

You're in love with an inanimate object? Do you have attachment issues? Maybe you should see a psychiatrist?

It's a little underpowered and for 5 thousand more you could get a boxster s.

You could also take that 5 thousand and swap in the better version of the engine in it.

Yeah but in my country 5k dollars/euros is roughly 20k zloty's (poland) and we don't earn 3k dollars but 3k zloty's a month which makes my country poor af.

just has no storage.

where are you located?

Poland, a.k.a Mexico of Europe in 1m city.

just get one and source a hardtop for it and a decent rear wing

Well then the mr-s sounds good for you.

snapyy snap snap overusteeru

This makes the car sound expensive as fuck.

>It seems perfect for me as my first car
have fun wrapping yourself around a tree retard

That's not a Subaru.

Yeah, imagine paying 30k dollars for decent golf 5 GTI. That is Poland for ya.

it's a great car, just a tad underpowered. 350z/boxsters are available for not much more

Doesn't this car has a fragile ceramic header that likes to go into the engine and fuck shit up?

> a tad underpowered

That's why it is a good first rwd car, will be harder to kill myself.

Jesus christ, I wish I had the option of an MR-2 as a first car...

Why don't you have? They are cheap, especially the MR-S.

My first car was a 98 grand cherokee with 340k miles and a blown tranny. It was given to me. Also I've never seen any for sale in my area.

Well, EU tends to have bigger variety/other types of cars than USA. Also there are only like 15 MR-2's in Poland for sale so there is also not much of a choice really.

>what is road tax
>what is insurance
>what is maintenance

You can buy great Bentley's for next to nothing, why don't you buy some of those you imbecile?

Also:

>WHAT ARE MPG'S
>WHAT ARE FUEL COSTS

See

I'm not that guy. I'm American. I honestly don't know what road tax is. Please explain. A MRS can't have that bad maintenance it has a corolla engine. I'm pretty sure my base insurance on a MRS would be like $50 a month. I don't get it why can't you own a mrs?

The engine compartment is very cramped and hard to work in.

>2017
>Sports/sporty car with 138 hp.

You didn't happen to order a mid engine sticker?
They came out in the early 2000s.
And they only weigh 2100 lbs.

How bad oversteer are we talking about? Doesn't light cars always have a bit of oversteer?

You pay road tax to your local socialist gobberment to be allowed to own something you bought yourself. And unless you live in the land of the free and you're over 24, insurance in Europe is near 100 dollars for the cheapest shit you can insure. But at least all the collected money will be spent on asylum centres all over the country, yay!

that's what i paid for my Golf GTI here in mexico lol

get it and bully the miata drivers out there

god speed

Snap oversteer is only a problem with agressive summer tires that tend to suddenly lose grip when pushed over the limit. With most tires (including most summer tires) will never give you an issue.

Miata drivers in poland? is there such a thing.
Half the retards in this thread still havent picked up on OP being from Poland, despite mentioning it several times.
Morons.

So in the UK theres a car ownership tax??? Thats ridiculous. I pay $46 USD for a MR2 and my 850 Turbo for minimum every month and I'm 24 and its been that way since probably 22. I've never payed any tax for my cars at all.

Op here, miatas in poland are literally more rare than ferrari.
