When you accidentally fuel with low octane plebgas

>when you accidentally fuel with low octane plebgas

I intentionally fuel with diesel.

my car is peepeepoopoo powered

>when your engine actually needs premium gas

As long as cars have had knock sensors, they benefit from higher octane gas.

>His engine isnt tarboed

>tfw your engine won't rev

I would take out my penor and piss on you right now. 100% serious.

>87 on the gas cap
>put in 93 just because i want to

>me
>drive a mid size pickup
>about to go on a trip since i was on break at the time
>go to car wash first
>have truck washed and gassed up
>one of the young female employees thought my truck had a diesel engine, or either was incompetent about cars
>fills my truck with diesel fuel
>2 miles out, my truck starts acting funny
>had to have it towed to mechanic to extract the fuel

i use unleaded premium in my 90 ford ranger. Its slightly better than that pleb tier low grade shit.

Did the company reimburse you for damages ? If not then you're a retard.

of course they fucking did. apparently i wasn't the first victim of this.

damn man, hows your truck running ?

Traded it in last year for a newer model. It was doing okay after fuel extraction, however there was this unusual sound the truck made everytime I started it up though. It was a 2007 Toyota Tacoma

This is why you don't let other people fuel your vehicle

at least those neckbeard attendants don't reach between my legs to fuel my bike for me, so that's one freedom i have

I won't let attendants fuel my vehicle in Oregon.

Except at the Pilot out by Gresham, and I watch them every step of the way.

Otherwise, I get gas either in Vancouver or Yreka when north / south, or Kennewick / Caldwell when headed to Ogden.

>mfw your engine isn't carbed and going to sit for a while or tuned and you use overpriced high octane gas

>95 on the gascap
>put in 102 because I want to

99% of modern production cars run absolutely fine on regular gas. Don't expect as much power and the fuel econony will be worse, but nothing critical will happen.

>go to chevron
>regular is on the right instead of the left

A jack collapsing and squashing his head like a watermelon would be the sweetest karmic justice ever.

delet this

Quality thread - thanks for the laugh

>regular is the same as premium but with ethanol

102? isn't the number the percentage of the liquid being actual octane?

I'm touching my penor

>engines runs on 95 gas
>oil mixing on cylinder 1, pinks like a motherfucker
>need to fill it with 98 to stop the engine sounding like it's falling apart

No. It's a measure of how hard the fuel is to ignite. Just a point value

>Have Toyobaru
>need 91+
>only 200hp

Wew lad. Need that supracharger real soon.

>Have FiST
>200hp
>Runs on 87 no problems

Best commuter car

Test drove the FiST before driving the Toyobaru, fun car but for me the 86 won out. I find the FiST shifter is so low, have to fully extend my arm to reach it.

Buy this shit. You'll have to put it in with every oil change, but it stops an engine from burning oil.

There is solid science about it that you can find online so it's not just some snake oil.

May save you money and save your engine. Buy the "8 cylinder formula" even if you have a 4cyl. It's the same stuff just more stuff for your dollar.

>can't find anyone that ships it outside the US

Well shit. Ehh I was planning on swapping the engine soon anyway.

Really? Amazon won't ship it outside the US? And there's other brands of it, "Engine Restore" is just the most reputable.

Here's another brand.

FUCK YOUU

Deaf turbocharged cars require premium.

It's not a turbo, but it does have 200 hp.

>you have to pay euro gas prices

Yeah the 86 is a nicer car overall.

Why the fuck do they do this, it's pissening

To trigger autists

Is there much difference between 95 and 99? This is all my fuel station offers.

>drive up to the station in the city center
>they have only the premium
>drive away

revving my engine

>spend less money

I have a relevant question, I ran out of gas recently on the freeway and a friend stopped by and gave me some 87 octane gas, about 2 gallons worth so I can get home. Is this going to "hurt" my car at all if I just fill up completely with 91? (02' wrx btw) I'm in the process of dropping the tank to see why it's not picking up the last gallon and a half.

lets say i still have 85 left in my fuel tank. It's fine to fill up with 93 right? my engine has FlexFuel™ Technology™

y boss

REV

No a gallon or two won't hurt. Running it for months or years would though
