The reason it's dumb NOT to buy silvers and bronzes is that some decks like bat aggro and Daria are literally built off bronze and silver cards.
With a few thousand vials you can easily build some of these decks, so it would be stupid not to make it if you have the vials and want to play the deck.
Yes, you will build up your collection slower this way, but some decks are worth it IMO.

Depends on match-ups, if you're seeing dshift for instance you might want to leave then in and trade fangblade for more removal that sticks around after killing Bahamut (Odin, Baha, Tsubaki etc). If you're fighting versus Seraph often you want Odins, and so on.

If Albert is your finisher you're going to get fucked over by every other control deck since they run a ton of Wards. He's useful, though.
Alwida's are an easy remove once you have more cards. You could also take out one Whole Souled, maid, White Paladin, and maybe the Jenos.
You'll want like, two Bahamuts, two Odins, Oliva somewhere, and an Avant Blader or two. Bahamut is good for taking out board floods that you'll hit later in the game and requires removal of some kind. Odin is for a lot of different decks. Olivia for helping close out a game, and I personally use Avant Blader because it's nice being able to replenish your hand a bit.
As control you're basically just stalling the game until you can get your finishers out while making the opponent waste his hand down.
Really though it's control sword. A lot of it is just up to preference and what you're seeing more of in your rank.
I still use Tia and she's preety useful for when the opponent realizes you're amassing your combo and tries to get you before that. It gives the current roach deck even more options to survive until the roach bomb
