Fucking up

hey Veeky Forums. I fucked up. I have failed as a Veeky Forumstist. I went and backed into my dads snow blower. I just taped it but to me that is the equivalent to just straight up falling asleep at the wheel and driving off a cliff. so I would just like to know if you guys ever fuck up like this.

>also if you could teach me the automotive version of seppuku that would be great.

you'll have more wreckless days as you get older but accumulating experience will compensate your declining skills.

tl;dr: driving IS your seppuku

Thanks...I think

Scratched my 2014 camaro on my narrow condo driveway

Felt like FUCKING shit

Live and learn I guess?

Why would you put tape on a snowblower?

I rolled my car once, it did not survive.

You'll be fine, buddy

are you the guy with the red bmw?
wasnt his name Wesley?

You're going to occasionally bump into things. Hopefully not often, but it's sort of inevitable. That's why we have things like insurance for when shit goes really south.

>watched madre hit my camaro when she moved her car for street sweep
>she starts going off on me for being upset

If you take your car in for scratch repair do they do it same day?

How much should it cost?

How bad was it?

took a tiny chip of paint off the splitter on my front bumper

Last weekend I drifted my Volvo 940 wagon at a snowed over very large parking lot and had a low speed collision with a Spectator in a car. Wrecked his numberplate and dented his bumper.

I Saw where it was going but Couldnt brake enough.

My bumper was fine though...

people talk shit about going fast in straight lines, and then I see posts like this

You will be mistakes made. Everyone cocks it up from dime to dime. Dont beat yourself off too much!

I'm a fucking autist that just got a car and started driving daily, so if i hit the curb/bumper for a SECOND while parking I get mad at myself. It's sad haha, but I'm just so paranoid about my baby.

Its a miracle it ended as good as it did and was stupid as fuck of course. But great fun while it went right though..

Last year my mother fell and broke her arm so I had to drive her to the hospital at like 4 am. Backing out of her driveway in her car (my ride is too stiff for someone in that state) I bumped my own cars bumper and headlight. Felt so horrible hurting my own car. It popped right back though, no large scuffs or scratches

Set your dad's car on fire on the buisiest highway in your state during rush hour then jump in front of a truck on the other side of the highway to cause maximum inconvience.

Also It's not that big of a deal.

I crashed my dad's MINT 93 notch into a guard rail taking an off ramp doing around 110

Felt like shit for about a year over it. You get over it

I know that feel

>Be last week
>Drift 940 Turbo RWD around almost every corner
>Cuz winter
>Go 'round corner
>Rural road, no salt, no sand
>Just this one was wayyy more slippery than the rest, just a blank ice sheet.
>Me: "Ok car that is enough time to straighten out"
>Volvo: "NO WE ARE COMMITED TO THIS DRIFTO!"
>volvo starts humming eurobeat
>End up in ditch
>Friend laugh
>Pulls me up with neighbors tractor.
>Such is life in rural sweden

Car was fine atleast.

>be me
>round christmas time
>taking cousin to his place late at night
>hes tired as fuck and just wants to go to bed
>theres a turn just before his house that is perfect for peeling on
>one inch of snow on a dirt road
>deja vu that shit
>straight into a snow filled ditch
>spend the next hour pulling my truck out
>cousin is livid but hides it pretty well

Eh, i hope thats the worst i ever do

Depends on the shop and how busy it is, how deep the scratches are, where, etc. Usually when it's customer pay, shops tend to hurry

I have one that happened about a month ago

>in 2001 Acura MDX
>On my way to work in Spokane, WA
>fucktones of snow and ice, as well as shit infrastructure, so roads and plows are an shit
>Going down arterial hill
>hit patch of ice
>correct and dont drift into 45mph oncomming traffic
>fuckthis.jpg
>go onto residential
>going down hill again
>blanket of ice
>blind corner
>was a 1-way thanks to snow
>clip a foresters drivers side door and mirror, denting it
>dent my quarter panel and tail light

it ended up being a 50-50 but she was nice and it was my first accident

lesson learned, never go down hills in hard winters
