Just make oliver. You will be disappointed in Nebu unless you've already played the shit out of everything else. It uses warrior creeds and you won't have to waste time farming creeds instead of farming rupees.

Neither helps with the fact that GS is literally suicide without Funf and can't stay alive long enough to do any damage.

GS is suicidal and there's no real way around it. Funf allows them to survive a bit longer and more importantly revive when they die, and they WILL die. Usually on the first ougi you can't 100% reduce.

Spear with DI3 and Swan Song and play on element.

Funf gives you an auto revive. Sophia doesn't.

No. Sophia isn't auto revive. She's a nice fallback if you want an emergency answer to Djeeta's endless pursuit of the sweet embrace of death, but she is nowhere near a replacement.

Light isn't capping auto damage without slug shot unless they stop to buff in which case they'll just lose MVP. You can get a bunch of attack up stacks from that one bullet but you'll spend all the other turns before that not capping damage.
