well i did not expect this at all
well i find it enjoyable since i sunk in thousand of hours playing the ios version. It isn't as deep as Football Manager mind you but still fun nevertheless
it can get boring especially if you are at the top series and dominating the series by miles. The only kick i get now is the battle between the these two drivers i have.

Anyone noticed weird teleporting issues with the latest AC update? Sometimes I will jump a little bit while racing. It feels like I blinked a second too long.

I remember being 10 years old and almost killing our PC, but I still managed to install windows 98 to play age of empires again.

Create a new user account, nuke the old one, then either re-create a Live account or login to Live on your new account.
Hopefully the game will stay there, and since you're logged in to Live your save data should be synced.

That was one of the first things I tried as i'd seen it mentioned elsewhere, unfortunately it didn't fix it.

That's exactly what mine did.
Also you can get to safe mode from the login screen if you hold down the shift key when clicking restart (bottom right)
Mine was still fucked though and none of the recovery options worked, nor making a new user account. Hopefully you have more luck.
I managed to get to safe mode eventually once i discovered and did repair my PC or whatever it's called. It still hangs occasionally after the log on screen and before showing the desktop but a hard reset seems to fix it.
Fortunately this was on my laptop and not my main sim battlestation which requires 100% reliability for optimal /ovg/ series points.

why doesn't OVG have its own track?
Many designs were proposed in the past, but they were deemed too dangerous. Something about no loops or spirals were allowed.

I would love a track that has both a twisty section with varying elevation and wide high speed section with a banked corner
we do have a track, but it's in Iran.
There is one for race 07 that know off, which I heard is pretty good. There are probably some RF ones that have questionable physics too.
