That's true, it's been pretty goddamn grueling, glad I did it first. I'm still butthurt that Shizune wasn't written better, it's like they wrote the first arc and a half and then forgot about the rest, only to remember at the last minute.

We dated for three years, but eventually her confidence plummeted so much after finding out she was losing her hearing that she saw herself as a "burden" to me, no matter how much I told her otherwise, and she ended up leaving out of some sort of guilt. Broke my heart into a million pieces, it did.

There was a discussion on what kind of foods the Katawas like and someone said they couldn't imagine Lilly trying fast food. I ran with the idea.
The problem has been rectified.

One idea was a series of four stories following the child when she was much older, around high school age. In each one, either Hisao, Hanako or Lilly had passed on and she learns about the 'parent' she never knew (Hisao's heart, Lilly's returning health problems and Hanako's complications during the birth) A final story has all four of them together on the first day she attends Yamaku. I trashed that one though since I want to get rid of the relationship nonsense. I just need to rework everything before I continue. That's why I've been working on stories when they are younger.
