Is there any car that screams 80s better than an FC?

the FC screams blandness
TR will always be the 80s car
...
FC Screams 90s
Delorean Screams 80s
For no reason other than the FC had shifted away from the more prevalent and angular designs of the 80's...which in turn were established by cars like the Delorean in the 70's.
lolno
FC doesnt look 90s at all
Deloreans werent even out in the 70s either
>FC doesnt look 90s at all
Cool story kid.
why are you posting a 70s car
do you have brain issues
Someone else here, I actually think the FB is a better 80s car than the FC.
>FC
Too round, FB is distinctly more 80's in design.
...
That's an FB
FBs reek of the 70s
FCs are bland 80s design to a T
...
That was my point....
...
Apologies for my inability to see your point from your first post
FCs are too round to represent the picture the present draws of the 80s. From today's standpoint they look more like a car for the dawn of the 90s.
no they really dont
I think people in the present are just being stupid since they look straight from the 80s
This.
FC isn't representative of car design from the 80's at all.
This would be my pick.
80's was angular as fuck.
>no they really dont
Yeah they really do.
The FC was ahead of it's time design wise, as a result it looks more like stuff from the 90's which means it doesn't "Scream" 80's at all.
Underrated post.
It'd be a toss up between the Countach and Testarossa for 80's crown.
I can't believe no one posted an AW11
lol no the fuck it wasnt
you people are deluded af
it looks like a generic 80s sports car
People itt are too busy bitching about shitboxes to see the truth
It's a 70s car. The TR is true 80s.
>dem lines
Fuck they're a great looking little car.
...
Diablo.
Even though it was made in 1990 the design reeks of 80s.
The Countach started production in the 70s.
>FBs reek of the 70s
dude what lmao
You can't get more 80's than this.
obviously looks like its from the 70s if youre not stupid
I guess when you dont know cars its easy to mistake it for the 80s
Diablo is very distinctly early 90's, much softer, rounded edges.
and that car is distinctly late 70s American
Fuck you beat me to it
it set the stage for the 80s, is more 80s than anything :^)
Is this b8?
It must be. The car went through distinct changes in the early 80s and then further changes to master it as the GN. It is 80s by all sense of the 80s right down to the Reagan presidency.
You can never have enough Regals.
>those fucking bumpers
absolutely disgusting
retard logic
apparently every 20s car is a 30s car and so on then
no just Im the only one who knows anything
I know you fucktards go on nothing but memes but goddamn its easy to see what era most cars are from when you arent stupid as fuck
GNX looks like a generic late 70s American car with some tarting up
FB doesnt look 80s at all much less than the FC for sure
this
Speaking of, you can get a used (2014-15) AWD turbo T for dirt cheap rn. Apparently old people are leasing them for a short time and then trading up to the Lacrosse frequently because you can't fit two walkers in the trunk. Actually seems like a nice little car, I had a rental one in Hawaii this summer and really liked it. If I HAD to get a new car and only moderate means I'd probably take one over a subaru since the price difference will be huge looking at impreza resale values.
and the king of the 80s vector w8
It actually looks a bit early 90s and late 80s ish so yes.
>no just Im the only one who knows anything
It looks early 90s. Like 90 and 92ish.
>no just Im the only one who knows anything
We can't all be special snow flakes.
The fuck huge rear bumper on the Celica Supra almost ruins the entire thing for me.
What is wrong with your brain?
Are you like really young or something?
They look early 90's. For example my 91 civic is very square.
> I'm smart and ur not herurrr
Sometime a look takes time to mature into fruition. The GN clearly look sloppy 70s box and turned it into cut crisp american 80s look. It was the mature man's car - no tom foolery in the design but rather a sinister last stand in the face of FWD taking over Buick's lineup that clearly illustrates the emotional and political climate of the era as well.
They still had heaps of slightly squarish cars like that in the early 90s. Wouldn't suprise me if they made fc rx7 into the early 90s.
thats because you are ignorant
retard your 91 Civic started in 87
meanwhile in 1992
there is no crisp 80s American look
they were all 70s shitbox holdovers
I'm gonna go with, "What is a Monte Carlo SS?" , Alex...
80s cars that were made into the 90s =/= 90s car you dumb fuck
> they were all 70s holdovers
Protip: if you have to keep telling people that they are dumb and you're the ony one who is smart and nobody is backing you up, it means you are the one who is dumb and you're best of as An Hero.
>Are you like really young or something?
I'm guessing so.
Either that or he seriously hasn't grasped that for something to scream "80's" you have to look at car design as a whole from that period, determine what the most prevalent and defining features were and then find a single car that not only embodies those design aspects, but perfects them.
no it just means Im surrounded by dumb fucks that huddle together because their lack of intelligence is common ground
but hey youre a dumb fuck I cant expect you to realize that
So it's a late 80's and early 90's car just like the rx7 which doesn't scream 80's.
>Cars that were made in the 90s are not 90s cars
What?
except it does
just like how your Civic screams 80s
not my fault you are too stupid to realize design and just autistic enough to where you have to take everything literally
>My 91 civic scrams 80s.
Does this make sense to you?
Really captures the spirit of the 90s, dontchathink?
this car is a 2004 model
totally screams 2000s
>I'm right, you're all retarded
Such a compelling argument user.
The difference is that the fd rx7 was a very typical design in the early 90s.
just like how the FC was a very typical design of its time?
cool beans
The difference is that the fd rx7 is what most cars typically looked like in the early 90s.
For something to "scream 80s"
It can't say late 80's and early 90's.
no shit the FD is obviously 90s
I never said anything about it
the FC is obviously 80s which these people cant grasp
>apparently every 20s car is a 30s car and so on then
and the r32 gtr is an 80s car according to you?
1990 porsche 944
This
1990-2000 design.
Forgot pic
The autism is strong in this one.
it damn sure doesnt look like a 90s car and it damn sure didnt come out in the 90s
it looks so dated compared to the likes of the FD 3000GT Supra and plenty of other cars of the early 90s
80s obviously so
not an argument
not that youre capable of one
posts a very iconic 80s car, lmao
that mazda styled the fc after, double lmao
91-92 facelift supra
90-91 civic.
...
>it damn sure doesnt look like a 90s car
and it dam sure doesnt look like an 80s car (this is what 80s cars actually look like)
What's to argue?
You're utterly incapable of grasping the simplest of concepts that multiple anons have already explained in the simplest of terms.
You're wrong and either you're genuinely too autisitc to realise it, or to arrogant to accept it.
Early 90s integra
lmao
R32 looks like a 1987 Mazda
its obviously 80s
not an argument
thanks for proving my point
Let's get all the NASCAR bodies from the 80's in here...
I'm surprised people haven't posted more Honda's, they were 80's as fuck.
I mean it looks late 80s but it doesnt "scream 80s"
When you look at it you think 'thats a car from the late 80s or perhaps early 90s'
You don't go.. 'Yep that's definatley 80s.'
A car that screams 80s wouldn't have you question if it's 80s or early 90s.
The rx7 does look late 80's but it doesnt scream it.
You look at it and go "thats late 80's or perhaps early 90's"
These are the cars I think of when I think of the 80s.
...
yes user YOU do
it looks like a generic 80s sports car
still not an argument
still proving my point
not my fault none of you can refute my facts
I know you deleted your post but I will still tell you the facts lmao
What facts?
You mean your opinions?
Here's a fact, a hallmark of 80's car design was boxy, angular cars.
Here's an opinion, LOL NO, I'M RIGHT, YOU'RE ALL RETARDED
so theres the R32 and FC being hallmark 80s cars
thanks for proving me right again
here have some stupid aesthetic garbage or whatever the 80sfags call it
It does look a bit 80s but doesnt scream it.
Once again a car that screams 80's should look like its from the early 90s.
the only ones that even look close to the 90s are the facelifted models
Also early 90s.
you see posting old cars that lived into another era doesnt work
this is a 2009 model
Early 90s buick raeta.
Except that is not typical styling of a 2009 car.
It is an odd exception of a car which atyling hasn't moved on with the time.
Where as the fd rx7 was very typical of what sports cars at a dealer shipped looked like in the early 90s.
