Fight me, cunt

Fixed that for you.

If I'm driving a six, this is it.

5spd is the only answer

Goat. Driving a fiesta st was weird cause I always went into r instead of first

This.

Trying to drive a lenco is definitely on my bucket list tho.

>Driving a fiesta st was weird cause I always went into r instead of first

Just how? You have to deliberately either push the stick down or pull a tab up, otherwise reverse won't engage.

...

Why not just make it linear?

...

I do not care either way.

I've driven both, and easily got used used to both. I actually owned an example of each at the same time.

Come to think of it, I had third where rev was to the right and forward too.

It really made no difference to me.

I drive cars with left front, left rear and right front. With a wheel for my pc with right rear.

The first few times I mess up.

T-56 master race

God's own transmission right there

...

Right, but I only have 5 forward gears.

Otherwise?

left is more efficient
>go into reverse
>quickly shift into first gear once reversing maneuver is complete
>dump clutch and RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR off from cops

probably this.

Left all day

unless you have a lockout, having reverse as far away from the high speed gears as possible is good

>Mostly switch between first and Reverse
>Put them on opposing sides
Come on now

If it's a 5 speed the only proper location for reverse is far to the right and down.

If it's a 6 speed, only acceptable location for Reverse is far to the left and down.

Both of your pictures are wrong nigger.

6 speed needs a lockout ring for reverse or else it's cuckshit.

>highlightingredients the highest gear
Fucking why. This looks so bad

Do most manual transmissions make you press down on the shifter in order to shift in to reverse like on a MK4 Golf? I've never driven any other manuals.

...

Yeah that really is the styling point which made the Chevy Cruze look bad. That little green dot. Not everything else. Just that dot.

Lots of them have a ring on the collar, underneath the shift knob, that you pull up on with your index and middle fingers. This unlocks the gate to reverse gear.

My Dad drive the 6 speed manual cruze and the overdrive gear is not highlighted, just took this image from google

Push-down to reverse is god tier

>pull up on with your index and middle fingers
I use my middle and ring fingers asshole. Maybe you should use your stupid fucking head to think before posting another dumbass comment like that mister.

The most patrician shift pattern

top left with a lock ring.

none of this bullshit "well if you're coming from first and you go over towards 6th it'll go to 'R'" bullshit. I want to know that I am actuating something for reverse, and push-in bullshit and random "we're going to guess where you're going next" gates aren't affirmative enough for that.

if I wanted ambiguous transmission positions I'd get an automatic.
