Thinking takes too long. Necrodancer is all about reflex and burning enemy movement patterns into your brain. There's no easy way to do it, just play over and over until you know how everything moves.

Quick thinking with the knowledge that you're playing a Rogue-like in real time.

Also, here's a brief rundown on how NTT modding works: You write shit into text files, you load the text files, and the text files do things. Simple, right?

Most of the interpreter is just plain GML (with some functions blacklisted), but yal also added support for a wait(); function, ternary arguments, and other neat bits that have been pushing the actual release of the modding update back for a while. It's gonna be great.

I'm doing Rerun myself.
Relying on instant Taurus proc, so I can zoom in and kill the enemy with Sacrificial Dagger. Every kill gives me a blue spider thanks to based Infestation 2. Every time a blue spider kills an enemy, they also spawn a blue spider to replace the one that killed them. Carrying double Algiz on top of potentially having double Dead Cat, because you can never know what shit can happen. Also Smelted AAA Battery and Lucky Rock in an earlier loop, and I have Sack Head too, so now I have endless consumables and can live forever if I don't fuck up.

grind out greed/greedier that way you never have to do them again. Also there are some decent unlocks there, like holy mantle for the lost. Might want to get the lost first, though, just incase the game shits itself.

I'm going to fucking shit myself. No matter how good a keeper run I get some bullshit will always deal 2 damage to me in one second eventually, even if I have a coin in the room you can't fucking save yourself
