I am a new pilot for BoS is it better to have both MG and MK bound to one trigger? Or to separate them. I have a Logitech Extreme 3D pro as my beginner stick so I have some thumb buttons.

Ok. I was confused because when I was trying with the gun pods it switched the gun pods to my thumb button and both the main MG and MK to my trigger. I did manage to get a kill with that setup anyway, after the gunpods dropped ammo. It is very satisfying.

afaik the AP in the KA-50 is just made to hold altitude, heading and airspeed, it`s not like an AP in a jet where you can set a series of parameters and it works to get to those.

That's not how it works, it's a helicopter. When you trim the controls you're trimming the cyclic, and antitorque pedals inplace, i.e. setting angle of pitch for the main rotor mast and tail rotor. So, yeah, when you trim at a certain angle and speed you'll stay there, but only because that's where you're setting the controls at for relaxed flying.

Easy way to understand how trim works in the Ka50, trim while on the ground with the engine off, look at happens in the cockpit, go to external view, look at what happens to the angle of the rotor blades
