Have someone else aggro. If they're engaged with another team mate, they won't react to you using death blossom in time, unless someone is specifically watching out for you.

Wait for them to use their stuns on someone else, and have Ana throw her grenade on you. You'll get extra health per globe, and if she has line of sight on you, you'll be getting a lot of health per second.

Don't use it in front of their 6 teammates. Unless you're having a defensive ult(Graviton, Blizzard, Earth Shatter, Nano) or something else to assist you, most offensive ults seem to be better used from flanking positions (High noon, Barrage). If you can drop down on people and ult like a bomb, do it.
