Well, Shu is his brother, and Shao is the first one of that particular clan to be playable. He does have enough men to make a faction, but it's moreso if KT will go that extra mile to do it.

It's great if you're a Zelda fan, and it has a lot of nods and throwbacks to just about every game. The final roster is a good one, and there's still more room for improvement. Unfortunately, the grind is bad even for a musou game, and there's a lot of padding with Adventure mode. The enemy variety is low, too.

On top of that the strategic and battle maps look horribad, ugly textures, no love put into anything. the friendship mechanics feel like a chore and in the end playing an officer is annoying shit because every three months the ruler calls a council at the ass of the map.

That probably would have put an end to the whole war. Sun Quan was fully prepared to surrender if the defense of Chibi failed, and a great many of his officers supported that position. So if Cao Cao won at Chibi, Sun Quan probably would have folded. Liu Zhang was, at that time, an ally of Cao Cao’s, so he wouldn’t have caused any trouble. Zhang Lu was also the surrendering kind and would not have put up any real resistance. There would still have been some holdouts in Jing, but lacking effective leadership, they would have been easy for Cao Cao to deal with, since he formally controlled the province anyway. The only other pocket of resistance would be the warlords of Liang and Yong, but as Cao Cao proved historically, they were simply no match for him and could easily be crushed.

Dynasty Warriors has awful characerization across the board. Omega Force just have no idea what ROTK is.

Not that guy, but vanilla 13 is really barebones, and the administration slots limit what you can do at a given time a lot, and it also has balancing issues. X is literally better in almost every single aspect except maybe the portraits.

Sima Zhao has plenty good characterization if you ask me. I agree that 90% of the rest is really one dimensional though.

I honestly can't wait till Omega Force inevitably goes under with all the recent flops. I'd much rather actual historian teams get their hands on some of Koei's budget and fame.

For a specific battle you can only take 5 people of your chosing to control, but most of the roster is playable overall.

They're using someone else's licenses/IP's, so they have to be very cautious with them.
