Dead game?

So how do boosters work exactly. I noticed i have 2 in my inventory, do they count down when you dont have the game launched or whatever or do they only tick down from gameplay time/game launched.

Pretty sure they count down in real time user

From the moment you activate them you have 24 hours or more depending on the booster to use it. After those 24 hours even if you didn't play during those 24 hours, its ogre

real time, add on your base renown again each time, ignores other boosters (teammates') and challenges (i.e. if you earn 300 renown from the match, 50 renown from teammates, and 150 from a challenge, the booster will add on another 300

Is Echo usable?
On release I sort of loved him but after a week of not playing he seems like hot garbage.
Yokai is situational and sometimes just seems to miss a vital echo before they rush in and Echos MP5SD seems shit, his shotgun is OK but it's a shotgun.
Am I wrong? I haven't used him much.

Shield defender isn't even that far-fetched, given how deployable shields were originally intended to be a viable defensive item when just held in your hands.

In siege it could work like this a 2 handed shield which you can deploy as a large deployable shield

Ubisoft knew in year 1 they made to much roaming defenders and with Mira being a THICC 3 speed they are making more on point defenders

It has some weird-ass recoil going on, especially visually, which makes it's rate of fire advantage fairly worthless. (All the "rate of fire op" guns like the smg-11 and the FAMAS are only great because they also have fairly predictable recoil to go with the high rate of fire.)
It doesn't help that it's already lackluster attachments don't seem to do much to mitigate it either.
By comparison, the para does more damage, it's recoil is actually predictable, and it's 30 round mag is more than enough for PvP usage anyway.

DMRs have always been good experiment a little

Buck's DMR has ridiculously low recoil and can fire almost as fast as you can click M1.

I mean you can't blame him for being cautious, it's a mediocre series overall and overrated and nothing has come close to WaW and its soundtrack since but simply mentioning it isn't a capital offense

DMRs have always been good if used in the right way.
That is to say, to hold long sightlines, and to assault in situations where the enemy has other distractions to worry about.
They're just shit for 1v1 peek fights since you can't prefire like you could with an automatic rifle.
1v1 peek fights are just pretty common for solo queue play, and that's why the "DMR is shit" meme came about.

You're right, attackers should be allowed to win every round as they approach the building in complete safety. Peekers should get instantly sniped by ai if a pixel of them is exposed to the outside because it's realistic. Attackers should be able to spawn on top of the building because getting retaliated against as I beeline towards the first entrance I see is unfair :(

you're right, defenders should be able to move freely around the entire map and pick a firing point on one of three preset locations the attackers have to choose from, some of which have literally zero (0) cover and prefire on them killing attackers the second they materialize or cover the only path they can take because having to think and cover multiple paths with my acog jager carbine is unfair :(

Yeah pretty much. It'd be cool for there to be a lot of features in the game, but only for the person who could utilize the feature. Coolness is 50% how fun, or at least interesing it'd be for a feature or mechanic to be played against. If you ignore that you start to get into killstreak and Tonefall 2 territory.

If any maps have legitimate issues with spawn peeking, and I mean actual spawn peeking and instant runout spraydowns, then all they need is more cover. Reuse truck models as a last resort, but instant roof access would push attacker win rate way out of proportion
