Pretty sure you just suck, user. Torvald's not about dealing damage (he can't, really. 50 per tick does add up, but not fast enough to make it worthwhile.) but he is about getting on the point and enduring long enough for other people to get there. Also throwing bubbles on damages or flankers who just happen to be in line-of-sight.
Also, using his silencing ability to temporarily stop a Makoa from hooking or a Damba from gourding can turn the tide of a point defense.

Plus, his giant "fuck you" hyper beam is great for cleaning house or pinning someone to a wall so the rest of the team can shoot them to death. Assuming they're paying attention.
Just be aware that Makoa doesn't fly so good when you try to beam him. He doesn't fly at all, actually.
