I ended up working things out with my ex and we're back together again. turns out I needed to break up with her and have her move away to realize how much I loved and missed her and how much life sucks without her. she still moved out, but it's for the best as she works at her new job she just got and saves up money to eventually get her license and a car and comes back for us to be together completely.

XV2 is causing my graphics card to overheat which in turn causes my monitor to flicker and XV2 to eventually crash. Even at low resolutions I'm still getting issues.

Low graphics settings causes memory issues. Changing it to medium solved my crashes for me, at least. (In basic settings, didn't tinker with advanced.)
