FE isn't as popular as shit like Fate in Japan and China apparently, and the mobage doesn't have the appeal of a FF artstyle or big names like Nobou Uematsu tied to it like GBF does.
I can see it becoming more popular in the west though, and the gameplay is bound to be much more intuitive than FGO or Grindblue at least, seeing as it's an actual strategy rpg.
That said, even if it isn't a top grossing giant like those two, it still has a lot more going for it than most of the mobage saturating the market nowadays, so who knows.

Yeah it's pretty buggy. Some characters don't get their skills randomized or end up as pre-promoted units with promoted exp gains, but it's kinda fun for the RNG factor. I just playing it until I hit a wall. Paralogue 1 just crashes the game for me so I skipped it.
