I struggle the most against Forest as Shadow Aggro, probably the craft I hate playing against the most. Roach OTK is doable but the defensive decks that run Tia or Fairy Beast are a nightmare to deal with.

Is it a bad match-up or should I git gud? I mean, it's control vs aggro, but it's really popular at AA+ for some reason.

Aggro decks spend evo on cheap followers that can attack face. You're talking about spending evolve on thief for trading so you can get a card draw out of him. Entirely different and not worth it at all.

The forest match up is is annoying for any aggro deck. Turn 1-3 you're trading against fairies so they don't get a phatty AE off and because you did that it stalls the game out long enough for them to get their Tia's and Fairy beasts off. Now a days I just pray It's OTK elf.
